 The Las Cruces Vaqueros are owned by Las Cruces Vaqueros LLC out of Houston, Tx  Its official the Las Cruces Vaqueros are the newest team in the Continental Baseball League. The Vaqueros are an professional baseball team who will begin play in 2010. Welcome to the homepage for Las Cruces Vaqueros Baseball Team. Coastal Baseball LLC is bringing a professional team to Las Cruces for the 2010 season. The Vaqueros will be a baseball team who will play in the Continental Baseball League for 2010 Season. Continental League Games are played Thursday-Sunday. The Vaqueros will also play teams from Mexico on certain Monday/Tuesday/Wed Nights. The Vaqueros will play 36 home games and 24 road games.. There will be 6 teams in the league (Big Bend Cowboys, Coastal Kingfish,Desert Valley Mountain Lions, East Texas Road Hogs, West Texas Pavement Crushers) The top 4 teams make the playoffs and fight for the end of season championship. The Continental Baseball League is an A Ball Level independent league with teams in Texas/Louisiana. In the first three years of the CBL 2007-2009 Players from the Continental Baseball League have signed affliated contracts and higher level AAA Independent League Contracts. In 2010 the league looks to be stronger than ever. Numerous players have signed affliated contracts and higher level contracts from the CBL in 2008 and 2009. |
