 Host families have always been the unsung heroes of the team. While big-league ballplayers make big-league bucks, the vast majority of minor-league players are young athletes who need not only a place to stay, but also some helpful guidance as they may be far from home for the first time in their lives. A host family gives a player a home away from home, and allows him to relax and pursue his dream of making it to the major leagues. Are you interested in becoming a Las Cruces Vaqueros host family this year? For hosting a player you'll receive two season tickets. Players will arrive the middle of April and depart in the middle of August, making the commitment four months.
